Students with at least one year of the Mandarin language study under their belt should investigate the unique experience offered through William & Mary’s Beijing Summer 2012 study abroad program.
Students in the program will spend nine weeks investigating Chinese language and culture in Beijing, Cihna. They will be led by W&M faculty member Qian Su, Chinese Studies instructor, on excursions to Chinese urban and rural centers, and have the opportunity to conduct research. Students will be housed in international dormitories with other W&M students.
The program is based in Tsinghua University where students will earn 12 credits total by taking classes in Chinese language, literature, and culture. The coursework earns W&M credit and grades.
