William & Mary students with one semester of Russian language experience have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Russian language and culture for 6 weeks this summer through the St. Petersburg summer study abroad program.

Students will experience local culture while they are housed with a family in St. Petersburg (includes breakfasts and dinners).  The program also offers excursions to cities like Moscow, and activities such as attending ballets and operas.

Students will attend class at St. Petersburg State University where they can earn up to 10 credits in Russian language and culture. Coursework will count as W&M credit and grades.
One semester of college Russian is required to participate in this program.
